Are you ready to unleash your potential on the lacrosse field? Join us for Hoya Lax & Learn β an exciting, free introduction to lacrosse for boys and girls in grades Kβ8! Whether your child has never picked up a stick or just wants to see what lacrosse is all about, this is the perfect chance to give it a try in a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.

π₯ What to Expect:
β Skill Development: Learn how to scoop, cradle, pass, shoot, and pick up ground balls with help from our dedicated Hoya Youth Lacrosse coaches and some current high school players.
β Fun & Motivation: Make new friends, build confidence, and experience what it means to be part of the Hoya Lacrosse family.
β No Stick, No problem? Equipment Can Be Provided: Weβll have sticks for kids who need one β just bring water, sneakers or cleats, and comfortable clothes.
Boys and girls will be grouped separately so they can learn skills specific to their game.

π² Nope! This event is completely free for all first-time players.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
π₯ No equipment needed. Weβll have sticks available for kids who donβt have their own. Just wear comfortable clothes and bring water.
Where do Hoya Youth Lacrosse teams practice?
π Practices are held at Lost Mountain Park β 4845 Dallas Hwy, Powder Springs, GA 30127
When does the Fall Season start?
π Parent Meeting and first practices will be held the week of August 18, 2025.

Join us for Hoya Lax & Learn β a fun, free introduction to lacrosse for boys and girls in grades Kβ8! Whether your child has never picked up a stick or wants to see what lacrosse is all about, this is the perfect chance to try it in a supportive, welcoming environment.
We provide sticks for kids who need one β just bring water and wear comfortable clothes! Boys and girls will learn separately, with skills and drills designed for each version of the game.
Our dedicated Hoya Youth Lacrosse coaches and high school players will be there to help new players learn how to scoop, cradle, pass, and shoot β while making friends and feeling the true Hoya family spirit.
