Girls Lacrosse
SPRING LACROSSE
January 28th before our season starts is our TRYLAX Day January 28th at Harrison High School Stadum. TRYLAX is for new players to come and tryout lacrosse current players are also welcome to come and play.
Practices starting in week of February 12th and Mandatory Parent meeting at Boots Ward starting at 6:45. Your coach will reach out to you before the season practices start.
We will then have Season Kick Off Event on February 14th at Harrison High School with Varsity Girls at 6pm and Boys Varsity at 730pm and the youth will are invited to the field between the games.
VP of Girls, is still an open board position, if anyone would like to help spread the love of lacrosse by helping create a great season for the girls please contact anyone on the board.

Ages
We have teams from Kindergarten to 8th Grade.
REGISTRATION
Registration starts in December 8 goes through February 1st, practices starting week of February 12th.
PRACTICES
All girl practices will be 6:30-8pm Monday and Wednesday at Lost Mountain Park 4845 Dallas Hwy., Powder Springs GA 30127.
Games
Hoya will be playing Southern Edge League games will be played on six Sundays with two games per game day.

April 28TH (end of season tournament)
Games are not played during spring break for Cobb and Cherokee counties. Game times and locations are TBD by Southern Edge sometime in February. Game locations vary between 3 locations: River Ridge High School, Hillgrove High School and Veterans Memorial Park.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
This season we are requiring families to Volunteer 2 times throught out the season. The volunteer opportunities will be posted on website athrough out the season. To offset this volunteer obgilation, you can elect to pay $100 when you register your player by selecting BUYOUT option.
If you are not able to volunteer 2 times this season and did not do the buyout option your account will be charged $100 at the end of the season.
Required Items
PINNIES
HYLA provides the Pinnies for the players which are to be returned at the end of the season. If the pinnie is not returned or damaged there will be a $50 replacement charge will be accessed.
MEMBERSHIP
Each player is required to obtain a US Lacrosse membership for insurance purposes before you start the registration process. You will not be able to complete registration without one a current membership.
